About WAIPU

WAIPU was founded on 4 December 2007 and is the worldwide representative organization for all professional icehockey players.

The mission of WAIPU is to be the collective voice of the players and to protect and help players.

WAIPU has currently the following members:

Finland, Switzerland, Norway, Czech Republic and through KHLPTU Russia, Belarus, Latvia and Kazakhstan and through North America, USA and Canada..
